Hurricane Tomas Hits The NCTC Site

Above - After Hurricane Tomas - Below  Before Hurricane Tomas

On the 16th of March 2010 Hurricane Tomas hit the North of Fiji leaving a trail of devastation in its path, many homes and crops where destroyed. It is hard to believe all our beautiful trees  at NCTC have been blown down.

I was in shock seeing the extent of the damage at NCTC, and also realizing the amazing miracle of protection on the NCTC site. Most of our buildings where safe. As I looked closely at the photos I began to see the magnitude of the miracle. When big trees fell, the wind came in one direction but the biggest trees feel away from our buildings, against  the direction of the wind. Angels guarding.
OH GOD YOU ARE GOOD !!!!!

All of us at NCTC have been so busy,  what a big big clean up. Our guys have done an awesome job and worked so hard, amazing what you can do with cane knives. The challenge for us now is to feed all our students, all their crops and much of our crops are wiped out. Over to you now God !!! Our students pay for their fees at NCTC by food, which they bring every week.
If you wish to help us feed our students money can be deposited on this website or directly into the following bank accounts:
